As a collective, Saddleworth Vintage and Handmade, we held an exhibit at the MOSI Mini Maker’s Fair this weekend just gone.

We asked the question of a number of visitors to the stall, of which there were many – “What does the word Vintage mean? ‘ as we were struggling to find a definition of the word, and could only find it in relation to Cars and Wine. As it is a word that is used alot nowadays in association with Fashion, Weddings, and arts and crafts, we thought we’d ask the public.
We recorded all of our answers using a typewriter – and allowed smaller visitors and willing adults to type their own answers. The typewriter was kindly lent to us by John O’Shea through the power of twitter.
Another typewriter was lent to us by Carol Oldham of Dormouse and the Teapot but unfortunately we forgot it would need ink!
